CALL FOR PROPOSALS: QUEER ASTROLOGY CONFERENCE 4
The Queer Astrology Conference invites you to offer a proposal to present what you know, feel, and/or experience with astrology.
QAC4 is calling YOU! Are you dancing toward an astrology of liberation, who envision new ways of holding space for this ancient wisdom tool? Come share your practices to enliven how we use astrology for change, healing, and empowerment.
At this unique conference event, we aim to engage multiple ways of knowing through lectures aimed to disseminate research and interpretative frameworks, but also through experiential offerings, panels and group processes, and forums that reveal our multiple experiences. We are seeking out and articulating new language to grow astrology in wellness and justice. We especially encourage Indigenous peoples, queer/trans/nonbinary identities, Black and Brown folks, and differently-abled humans to claim this space for your voices, visions, and curiosities.
Please offer your proposal by following this link and clicking on the "Open Form" button at the bottom of the page. Get your submission in by the end of Libra season, October 22, 2017. A committee will be meeting next to decide on the final program, and those selected to present will be notified by the end of Scorpio season. Honorariums are offered to show appreciation for your work, and some limited travel funds will also be available.

Our Intention: The Queer Astrology Conference makes space for professional and novice astrologers alike to explore the intersections of study/practice and queer-identified life. By queer, we invite a broadly imagined array of gender and sexual diversity, self-defined identities and lived experiences. The intent is to work smarter in the present, and to generate queer-specific resources for future astrologers.
If you have any questions about the process of submitting a proposal, please contact Rhea Wolf at email@example.com. Thank you for all the wild beauty and powerful truth you give to the world around you.
