What is Kriya Yoga?
Kriya Yoga is the same practice discussed in the book, Autobiography of a Yogi. What makes Kriya different than other meditations? The focus is within the spinal cord, which houses the central nervous system and subtle electromagnetic nerves which control all mental and physical processes. By concentrating and breathing within the spinal cord, we gain the ability to control our life-force energy, also called Prana, reorient the mind, and increase awareness. Kriya Yoga does not belong to any particular religion or sect, and complements all paths of life. Whatever you are currently doing, you will be able to perform better as your awareness, understanding, and focus improves.
Who is Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath?
Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath, or simply "Gurunath", belongs to the Nath tradition (Sampradaya), a timeless lineage of spiritual masters, connected with infinite consciousness through the greatest Yogi of all ages, Babaji Gorakshanath. These ancient yogis discovered that the secret of cosmic consciousness is intimately linked with breath mastery. The life force can be channeled for higher activities by a method of calming and stilling the ceaseless demands of the breath.
For over 40 years, Gurunath has taught yoga and spirituality in service to the world. He has addressed the United Nations and several organizations with his message of "Earth Peace through Self Peace", which is Earth peace can only be achieved once every person develops peace within themselves.
Gurunath is helping lay the foundation for what must, and will eventually be, the framework of the world in order for humanity to sustain itself. Read more about Gurunath and his worldwide events.
